She's not Kylie, she's not Florence. She's just not very compelling thus far. I would have much preferred 'Salt Skin' or 'This Love (Will Be Your Downfall)' that I know you hate. But I do agree, this video leaves a LOT to be desired. I feel like grabbing a high definition camera and a couple friends and redo the video. Even with our budget of $time, I'm certain I can produce something equally as good if not better. Oh and can we agree that close up shots of her face in slow motion are NOT to her benefit? Fever was amazing (and Light Years even better) but Body Language hit a brick wall, hard. I really do think X is brilliant but I can definitely agree that it lacks ANY cohesiveness. I've always described it as an album of 13 tracks that could ALL be singles of 13 different albums. As a singular album it is completely random but still delicious. Luckily, Aphrodite is the most cohesive album since Light Years. In fact, I really love listening to Aphrodite with the Scissor Sisters' Night Work. I would love it if Stuart Price would mix the two albums together. Or a portion of the albums together. There is a lot of room for cross promotion on these two brilliant albums. It's going to be nearly impossible for them to recreate the buzz they had in America with their first album. Another US act that only does well in other countries.
