By now you’ve probably heard of Uffie, most notably for her song Pop the Glock, which I was not a fan of. I didn’t get her schtick back in 2006 when the song debuted after a rollercoaster personal life since she debuted her album got pushed back and pushed back, and here we find ourselves nearly 5 years later and the album finally gets a release Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans. Although this album got put on the back burner much like Christina’s Bionic, the album actually sounds new and relevant, unlike the latter. Songs to check out from this MC are Art of Uff, Illusions of Love and Neuneu which you can hear in the player below.

Below is the new video for her first single since her return entitled ADD SUV, and unlike Pop the Glock, I can’t get enough of this song! The video was directed by Nathalie Canguilhem and finds Uffie in a mix of live action and cartoon/comic book sequences throughout the video. Which oddly reminds us of Kesha’s latest video for Your Love is My Drug. What is most curious is that Uffie fans are constantly in a tiz accusing Kesha of stealing Uffie’s sound while she was on hiatus, and then Uffie turns around and releases a much similiar video… you’ll also notice parts that remind you of various M.I.A. videos but will not induce seizures.
