I don’t know how the hell I stumble across these bands, but when I do – they make me happy. jj is a terribly reclusive swedish band, with no discernible website, no real proclivity for having their picture taken but who have turned out one of the best albums of 2009 apparently in their album entitled “no 2.” Guess what, they just released a new album, aptly titled “no 3.” Whereas the first album is summertime all the way, Numero Tres is clearly more winter-themed and may have been made a little too close on the heels of its excellent predecessor.

The songs are airy, bright, electro-pop that seems to be churning in Sweden. My recommendation is to get your hands on “no 2″ any way you can and then delve into “no 3″ if you’re still curious.
