I enjoyed her last video for The Flood, and this video is pretty awesome, but the song…meh.
This song is my shit. And by my shit, I mean like a month ago it came out. I’m behind, yes.
And the video is interesting, to say the least. Bizarre to give it more credit than necessary. But anyway, I love this song (and I need to refer to it in a post later this week, and I realized I didn’t post it here!) and I’m excited for Katie Melua’s album produced by William Orbit, who apparently went into seclusion after working with Madonna. Oh brother, we’ve all been there, bought the t-shirt and helped build the girls’ school!
Just kidding. But we do own an “Italians Do It Better” t-shirt.
Um, I have no idea who the hell Katie Melua is but there’s a buzz about her new single which William Orbit produced, called The Flood. The song is amazing. It’s dramatic, meaning I am in love with it. And in this teaser video for a few tracks off her new album, we see a preview of a making of the video and it looks also interesting as hell. Can’t wait to see the full thing. Melua’s fourth album, The House, is due for release on 24 May 2010. Songwriters include Lauren Christy, Guy Chambers and Rick Nowels, with William Orbit producing.
