Check out the new video for Macy Gray’s new single for Beauty in the World. It’s a great summer song and the video is well done, I especially like the editing. It amazes me that this woman’s shelf life is still growing strong. Granted she’s had a long string of misses but record companies just keep snatching her up and giving her another shot, and I for one an thankful.

It’s possible we could see a real comeback from this release, the single even comes with a proper remix package! Hoorah!

I don’t really get into Dancing With the Stars, the whole thing seems almost trite. Really, there’s a lot of things I don’t get into and my friends and such remind me often that I’m set in my ways, but that isn’t a post for this site.

However, when I heard that Macy Gray was going to be on the show I just had to see it. She has to be one of the most awkward people ever, and so I knew it was going to be a mess. Not to my surprise she only lasted one week, so I didn’t have to subject myself to the show for too terribly long.

This however, was the best moment in Macy Gray history when she dropped the cherry F-bomb in her post dance interview while getting her scores, you can rewind back and see the whole dance and awkward judge comments if you so desire.

Stop making albums, because this is how I want to remember your career.
